Pakistan Army Chief lauds services of Army Medical Corps in war against terror

ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has lauded therole of Army Medical Corps in saving valuable lives in the war againstterrorism.

He was speaking during interaction with the commanding officers andsoldiers of the Army Medical Corps at Army Medical Center Abbottabad today.

The Army Chief appreciated contributions and services of doctors andparamedic staff in providing quality healthcare to the Pakistan Army aswell as common citizens.

The Chief of Army Staff installed Lieutenant General Khawar Rahman asColonel Commandant of Army Medical Corps.

The Outgoing Colonel Commandant, Lieutenant General (retired) Zahid Hamidand serving and retired officers and soldiers of the Army Medical Corpswere also present on the occasion.

Earlier on arrival, the Army Chief laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhadaand offered Fateha.
