LAHORE – The parole period of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, hisdaughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar have been extendedfor three more days by Punjab government.
Parole has been increased so that they could attend the funeral of KulsoomNawaz.
On Tuesday, the Sharif family members were released on 12-hour parole forthe funeral. However, political observers were of the view that the paroleperiod would be extended till the last rituals of former First Lady areperformed in Lahore.
