ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom, Government ofPakistan, through IGNITE, launched the DigiSkills programme on July 8,2018. It is a nation-wide program to train 1 million people with governmentcertifications, free of cost, in the future of work using technology.
The aim of the programme is to produce a digitally literate population withmarketable digital skills that are gainfully employed in a vibrant economy.The programme will offer one million Pakistanis the opportunity to gainmarketable digital skills that can transform them into successfulfreelancers, employees, and entrepreneurs.
The courses offered in the first phase of the DigiSkills programme areFreelancing; Digital Marketing; Digital Literacy; E-Commerce Management;Creative Writing; AutoCAD; SEO; WordPress; Graphics Design; QuickBooks. Thecourses will start on August 1, 2018.
