Pakistan Army Commanders expresses complete confidence in leadership stance to uphold rule of law in country

The formation commanders conference expressed complete confidence inleadership’s well-considered stance to uphold the constitution and rule oflaw, at all costs, according to military’s media wing, the ISPR.

The statement was made a day after the joint opposition ousted formerpremier Imran Khan through a no-confidence motionlinkinNational Assembly. Khan claimed that there was a foreign conspiracy for aregime change in Pakistan.

Participants were briefed on professional matters, national securitychallenges and measures being undertaken to counter traditional andnon-traditional threats.

The army chief expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness offormations and response mechanism to deal with emerging challenges. Theforum paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of officers and men toensure security of borders and safety of masses.
