Donald Trump to face nationwide protests

WASHINGTON: The US progressive group is all set to start protest nationwideif President Donald Trump expels the special counsel investigating Russianinvolvement in the 2016 US election.

Robert Mueller, the former Special Counsel said that Trump behaving like ifhe was above the law. According to international media, the progressivegroup is planning 800 demonstrations across the country.

The American news website claimed that every state will have at least onerally with the slogan of ‘Nobody is above the law’ and more than 0.3million people will attend the protest rally.

The report added that if the Trump administration fired Deputy US AttorneyGeneral Rod Rosenstein then it will boost the protests across the countryas Rosenstein are overseeing the Russia probe.

Earlier, President Trump called Mueller investigation, a “witch hunt” andhe threatened to fire Mueller after the Federal Bureau of Investigationraided his personal lawyer’s offices on Monday.

The website added that Friends of the Earth, the American Federation ofTeachers, and veteran’s organizations are the groups behind the plannedprotest against President Trump
