Kashmiris reject Indian stance on Kashmir boycotting Sham polls

ISLAMABAD: Convener of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Mirwaiz-led Hurriyet forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, has said that the boycott of Indian parliamentary sham elections in Occupied Kashmir had dealt a severe blow to Indian stance on Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi while chairing a meeting in Occupied Kashmir said that 95 percent people rejected the election drama which proved that Kashmiris wanted freedom from India in accordance with the UN resolutions on Kashmir.

He also deplored the criminal silence of the world community and international human rights organizations over the Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.

Others who attended the meeting including Manzoorul Haq Butt, Aijaz Rehmani and Muhammad Shafi Dar.

The meeting paid rich tributes to the eight Kashmiri youth who were recently martyred in the firing of Indian forces’ personnel on peaceful protesters in Occupied Kashmir and said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste. (APP)
