BEIJING: China’s President Xi Jinping called for a “peaceful” resolution to tensions over North Korea in a phone call with Donald Trump, Chinese media said Wednesday.

Xi told the US president that China “advocates resolving the issue through peaceful means,” according to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV. (APP)
