ISLAMABAD – Netflix set to launch new cheap price plan for mobile usersacross the World.
Netflix is testing a new price plan for mobile users around the world. Asper rumors, the plan will cost approximately half the price of the basiccurrent package, i.e., $8.99.
The plan will cost users around £2.99 a month in United Kingdom (UK) whichwill be a massive saving over the current basic package that costs £5.99per month in the UK and the current standard package that costs £8.99 permonth.
The plan is being devised, considering how the younger generation prefersstreaming movies, TV shows, and documentaries on smartphones and tablets.Hence, the mobile plan customers will not be able to access the accountfrom computers and laptops.
According to Mirror UK, the subscription was tested in India, Malaysia, andIndonesia last year and the Company has said that it is planning to make itavailable to more countries in the next few months.

In a recent letter to its stakeholders, Netflix said:
In Q4, we launched a mobile-only plan in Malaysia and Indonesia (which weintroduced to India in Q3 last year). We’ve seen similar results with thisplan driving incremental subscriber growth and improving retention.
We expect the mobile-only plan to be revenue-positive, which will allow usto further invest in content to be enjoyed by our members and continue tofeed the virtuous cycle.
