KARACHI – A session court in Karachi on Tuesday acquitted Lyari gangsterUzair Baloch in a criminal case for want of evidence.
Uzair Baloch, who was booked in kidnapping and murder case of a citizen,was brought to the court in tight security.
During the hearing, defence lawyer argued that no eyewitness appearedbefore the court. The police found the dead body and didn’t identify theslain person, he added.
The counsel further said that police nominated his client in the case onpolitical grounds, who didn’t commit it.
Earlier, a local court also acquitted Lyari gang warlord Uzair Baloch intwo cases of police encounter and attempted murder.
