BEIJING – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday met withAfghanistan’s National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib who is on a two-dayvisit in Beijing.
The two sides discussed bilateral ties and other mutual issues onAfghanistan and China. Wang said
The NSA office said that in this meeting, the Afghan National SecurityAdvisory and China’s Foreign Minister discussed mutual interest issuesincluding Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process, security and stabilityin the region and strengthening bilateral ties.
Earlier in the day, the National Security Advisor’s Office said in astatement that Mohib will hold talks with senior Chinese officials onAfghanistan-China relations, an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace processand strategic cooperation between the two countries.
