FBR has uncovered the largest tax fraud in the country's history, with a value of billions of rupees. According to details, the Tax Fraud Director General of Internal Audit Inland Revenue's team apprehended a fake company named H&S Sons, which had committed a tax fraud worth 314 billion rupees.
The company falsely claimed iron and steel business in its documents and provided addresses such as Liaquat Market, Aga Khan Market, and M.A. Jinnah Road Market in Karachi for registration.
The fake company was used for various illegal purposes, and despite the revelation of a 314 billion rupee fraud, FBR has not yet filed any cases. Due to the absence of FIRs, the suspects can potentially flee the country.
