In Islamabad, a special court granted permission on Monday for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman to speak with his sons by phone until September 15.
The decision followed a hearing concerning the PTI Chairman's complaint against the Superintendent of Attock Jail within a special court governed by the Official Secrets Act. Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain has not only ordered the phone conversation with the PTI Chairman's sons by September 15 but has also requested a progress report by the same date.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain instructed the jail superintendent to ensure the PTI chairman's access to phone conversations with his sons until September 15, ensuring full compliance with the court's orders.
It's worth noting that the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had filed a contempt of court petition against the Attock Jail superintendent. The petition pointed out that despite court directives, the jail superintendent had not permitted the PTI chairman to communicate with his son via telephone. The petition also urged the personal appearance of the Attock Jail Superintendent and the initiation of contempt of court proceedings against him.
