Diplomatic setback for India, four key countries show support for Canada against Indian killing of Sikh leader

Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar's murder case has garnered further support against India from Canada, after the United States, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom also declared their support for Canada.

According to global media reports, on October 6, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had a telephone conversation with British counterpart Rishi Sunak. The British Prime Minister stated that the defense of the law applies to all nations. On October 8, the Canadian Prime Minister also discussed the murder case of Hardeep Singh Nijjar with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

As per the report, on October 9, Justin Trudeau obtained support from Jordan's King Abdullah. Jordan, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates' leaders have expressed strong concern over the legal action against India.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed deep concern about the enforcement of the law and the safety of citizens.
