India's massive military buildup poses direct threat to National Security of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - International community has economic interests in selling weapons to India. Arms Race and imbalance of power in the region can have serious consequences. India has nefarious designs to destabilize Pakistan and weapon procurement is direct threat to the security of our country. Pakistan army is highly professional army and fully prepared for a "befitting response" to "any misadventure" from across the border. Our missile system is also among the most sophisticated systems in the world. Pakistan Air force is also much superior than that of India in terms of fighting capabilities. Pakistan neither wants, nor engaged in arms race in South Asia. India has huge chunk in budgetary allocation for purchase and up-gradation of weapons. India is the largest arm importer in the world. India procures most of its arms stockpile from Russia. Indian passion for weapons is serious threat to regional peace and stability. Pakistan always opposed arms race in the region; however it is fully vigilant about the security of its borders. India must realize that any misadventure between two nuclear states can lead towards massive catastrophe.
