Indian Army helicopter crashes in Occupied Kashmir, casualties reported

NEW DELHI, March 11 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter belonging to the Indian Army crashed in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday, said media reports.

The crash reportedly took place in the Baraum area of the Gurez sector of Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Fate of the pilot and others onboard, if any, is not known yet as a search and rescue operation is still on.

"The search parties of the security forces are reaching the snow-bound area for the rescue of the chopper crew," said a media report. ■
