LAHORE – Pakistan’s professional boxer and two-time silver flyweight world champion Muhammad Waseem has added another feather to his cap by becoming the world’s top-ranked boxer in the latest rankings of flyweight category issued by the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Waseem is the first Pakistani boxer who is progressing so quickly at the international level, and has achieved this feat by knocking out big names in the standings.

Muhammad Waseem is followed by Mexico’s Francisco Rodriguez Junior and Great Britain’s Andrew Selby in the rankings, who are at the second and third spots respectively.
