Turkey says its relations with the United States have been harmed by Washington’s refusal to extradite Turkish cleric Fetullah Gulen and its provision of arms to the Kurdish militant group YPG.
Speaking to the state-run Anadolu News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said ties between the two countries can be harmed further if Washington does not correct its mistakes.
The Turkish Foreign Minister also called on Iran and Russia to fulfill their responsibilities as guarantor states in Syria.
He said the Syrian regime forces are targeting moderate opposition groups “on the pretext of fighting Al-Nusra terrorist group”.
Cavusoglu warned that such a move would undermine the peace process in Syria.
