KARACHI: The Rabita Committee on Saturday accepted the main demand of MQM Pakistan chairman Farooq Sattar, announcing withdrawal of the letter written to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The Rabita Committee against visited the PIB.
Farooq Sattar clarified that there will be no compromise on the issue of Kamran Tessori. He demanded a meeting of general workers on Sunday.
He also issued notices to 33 members of the Rabita Committee and sought explanation for violating discipline. “We will not let anyone destroy 40-year struggle,” he maintained.
Meanwhile, Syed Sardar Ahmed has resigned from the Rabita Committee membership.
Salman Mujahid, who joined the PSP after deserting to the MQM, reached the PIB. He accused Amir Khan of hatching a conspiracy. He also asked Qaimkhani to join hands with him.
Amir Khan, while weeping, said that he has never wished to be the party chief. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui also declared Bahadarabad as the MQM centre.APP
