Karachi: Uncertainty surrounding the matter of resignations from the parties in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) seems to be over after Pakistan People's Party (PPP) asked all its legislators to hand in resignations.
Just a few days before PDM's protest rally at Lahore, PPP seems to have made up its mind on the matter of resigning from assemblies and senate. All members of National Assembly, Senate and most importantly, Sindh government, have been asked to hand in their resignations.
Earlier in the week, PDM could not agree on the matter of resignations. Finally, Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced that all lawmakers from the 11 member alliance, will hand over their resignations to their party heads, to be used at the right time.
