ISLAMABAD: (APP) Embassy of Pakistan in France held Naat Khawani to celebrate Eid Milad-Un-0Nabi in Paris.
A large number of Pakistani community and officers and staff of the Embassy attended the Eid Milad celebrations.
Naat Khawan, both male and female, recited 'Naats' in love and praise of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), said a message received here from Paris on Saturday.
Ambassador of Pakistan Moinul Haque, in his concluding remarks, said the life and teachings of the Last Prophet (PBUH) were beacon of light for the entire humanity.
He said Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) preached justice, tolerance, moderation and peaceful co-existence with followers of other religions.
He urged the Pakistani community in France to lead an exemplary life by practicing teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) with regard to peaceful coexistence and respect of local traditions, customs and laws in both letter and spirit
At the end of the Milad, special prayers were offered for the continuous peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the world.
