LAHORE: (APP) Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz presided over a high level meeting on Wednesday to review the preventive measures to stop the growth and spreading of the Congo virus across the province.
The Chairman of the Chief Minister Inspection Team for the Congo virus submitted its inquiry report in the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed to take stern action against the medical staff, responsible for the death of two patients of the Congo fever at the Bahawalpur Victoria hospital.
He said that stern action will be taken against the medical staff, found in negligence.
He also directed to make more effective surveillance of the animals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
