King of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, has issued a royal decreeannouncing to grant Saudi nationality to brilliant foreign professionals.The step intends to attract bright minds from all over the world.
The move is in line with Saudi Vision 2030, a plan to reduce Saudi Arabia’sdependence on oil and diversify its economy by developing public servicesectors.
According to the royal decree, competent professionals from certaindisciplines will be granted Saudi nationality:
– Nuclear and renewable energy, – Computer science, – Medicine, – Pharmacology, – Ecology, – Artificial intelligence, – Robotics, – Aviation, – Sports and Arts, – Astronautics, – Culture
