ISLAMABAD – Pakistani movie “The Legend of Maula Jatt’ has made historyeven before its release.
It will become the first ever film from Pakistan to release in China thesame day as its domestic release.
The movie which stars Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Fawad Khan and Hamza AliAbbasi will release on Eidul Fitr 2019 in Pakistan and China.
Only a handful of big studio backed projects from Hollywood each year areable to achieve such mainstream release in China, a press release read.

The press release stated that most commercially successful Bollywood filmssuch as Dangal, Secret Super Star, Hindi Medium and Bahubali, all have beenreleased in China after months or a year after their domestic andinternational screenings.
