ICC unveils latest Test Players Rankings, Pakistani players inch up the table

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Azhar Ali has broken into the top 10 of ICC Testrankings for batsmen.

His hundred helped him skip two places to perch on the tenth spot in therankings.

His fellow centurion Asad Shafiq also climbed one spot to No.21. BabarAzam, who made a fighting 51 in Pakistan’s second innings, also rose threeplaces to No.35.——————————In the bowlers’ rankings, Pakistan’s ace fast bowler Mohammad Abbas droppeddown to the fourth position after missing the final Test against NewZealand due to the shoulder injury. He swapped positions with SouthAfrica’s Vernon Philander.

Leg-spinner Yasir Shah’s sublime form sees him remain in the top ten at No.9, while off-spinner Bilal Asif climbed five places to No. 58.

There was no other movement in the top ten, with Kagiso Rabada maintaininghis hold of the No. 1 position.
