Türkiye’s Top Officials To Arrive in Pakistan for High-Stakes Talks

ISLAMABAD – In a major diplomatic development, Türkiye has dispatched itstop foreign, defence, and intelligence officials to Pakistan for crucialtalks centered on a possible ceasefire framework in South Asia, with aparticular focus on Afghanistan’s volatile security landscape.

The high-level delegation, led by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan,Defence Minister Yasar Guler, and National Intelligence Organization (MIT)Chief Ibrahim Kalin, is expected to hold a series of closed-door meetingswith senior Pakistani officials, including counterparts from the foreignand defence ministries.

According to diplomatic sources, the talks aim to explore avenues forregional de-escalation and cooperation in stabilizing Afghanistan, wherecross-border tensions and militant activities have recently intensified.
