In the meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and leader ofMuslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif in London, it has been decided thatmerit will be given priority in the appointment of Army Chief and themost senior officer will be made Army Chief.
Sources say that important decisions were taken during the meetingbetween Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.
The appointment of Army Chief was discussed in the meeting and it wasdecided that the senior most officer will be made Army Chief and meritwill be given priority.
