ISLAMABAD – In occupied Kashmir, a complete shutdown is being observed onsecond day, on Sunday, in Tral area of Pulwama district against the killingof a youth by Indian troops.
All shops and business establishments are closed while public transport isoff the road.
The youth, Anwar, was martyred by the troops in Darganaie Gund village ofTral on Friday.
Meanwhile, Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir , Muhammad AshrafSehrai condemned the ongoing arrest spree across the Valley.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, today, he said arrests and unleashingfear among masses would only further deteriorate the situation.
He said New Delhi must understand the reality that Kashmir dispute will notbe written off from the pages of history by using brute force to suppressthe voice of people.
