The International Cricket Council has announced nominations for the Playerof the Month.The nominations are based on performance in the month ofSeptember.
India’s Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, and England’s David Malan have beennominated for Player of the Month. This has come as a shock to Pakistan’sskipper Babar Azam who has been previously many times named as the ICCplayer of the month.
On the other hand, for the ICC Women Player of the Month, South Africa’sLaura Wolvaardt, Nadine de Klerk, and Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu havebeen nominated.
