The European Union has opposed the decision to halt aid to Palestine.
After Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Luxembourg, France has also expressedits opposition to suspending aid, stating that cutting aid directlybenefiting Palestinians in response to Israel’s violent actions is notjustified.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the European Commissionof France’s opposition. On the other hand, Spain has stated that theirposition is clear, and the aid for Palestine should continue.
