Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the 6th Summitof the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia(CICA) in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Cabinet members and senior officials will accompany the PM in the two-dayconference.
The Prime Minister will address the plenary meeting of CICA on Thursday.
He will elaborate upon the significance of CICA as a unique forum forpromoting interaction, understanding and collaboration amongst countriesacross Asia to address common challenges.
The Prime Minister will also highlight Pakistan’s perspective on regionaland global issues.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateralmeetings with the leaders of various CICA Member States to foster greatercooperation in trade, investment and energy.
Formed in 1992, CICA is an intergovernmental process comprising 27countries from Asia. It focuses on peace, security and socio-economicdevelopment in the Asian continent. Pakistan is one of its founding members.
