PM Shahbaz Sharif seeks relief from NAB Court over money laundering case

Special court on Tuesday granted exemption from court appearance to primeminister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif in a money launderinglink case.

PM Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz are facing a case of Rs16billion in money launderinglink through fake companies.

At the start of today’s hearing, PM Shehbaz Sharif’s counsel submitted aplea seeking exemption from the court appearance, citing the engagement ofthe premier in the important matters of the country.
