Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in trouble over issue of arrest warrants

RAWALPINDI: The court of senior civil judge Rawalpindi on Tuesday returnedInterior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s plea against the release of his arrestwarrant with an objection.

On October 8, a special judicial magistrate in Rawalpindi had issuednon-bailablearrest warrantslink forInterior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader RanaSanaullah in a corruption.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) legal team moved the court againstthe issuance of an arrest warrant for Rana Sanaullah, but the court raisedan objection to it.

The court directed the legal team to submit the power of attorney with RanaSanaullah’s signature on it.
