LAHORE: Lahore High Court announces verdict against Meesha Shafi, it’sembarrassing for the singer cum actor.
Lahore High Court on Friday dismissed a petition filed by singer MeeshaShafi challenging the dismissal of her complaint by Punjab ombudsperson(Protection against harassment of women at workplace) and the governoragainst musician/actor Ali Zafar on harassment charges.
This was the third time Shafi’s case was dismissed by the Lahore HighCourt. The appeal was rejected on the basis of not being presented at theappropriate forum.
“It is not necessary for it be sexual harassment to be between an employeeand employer,” the statement read.
