ISLAMABAD – The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar hasissued new directions in the Pervaiz Musharraf treason case.
CJP on Thursday directed former president General (retired) PervezMusharraf to record his statement under Section 342 of the criminalprocedure code in the treason case against him.
The Chief Justice’s remarks came as he headed a bench hearing the caserelated to National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), passed by Musharraf in2007.
