Deputy Chairman NAB Zahir Shah has suddenly resigned from his post and senthis resignation to Chairman NAB and Prime Minister. However no reasons havebeen known for his abrupt resignation.
Zahir Shah, previously the director general (operations) of the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB), has been named the acting chairman of NABfollowing the resignation of Aftab Sultan on Tuesday.
Zahir had previously held the position of deputy chairman since October2021, with nearly two decades of service at NAB in various key roles. Hetemporarily assumed the role of acting chairman in June 2022 beforeSultan’s appointment.
