Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Program, widening access to educational and career opportunities for thousands of additional students across the province.
The announcement was made via her official account on social media platform X, where she addressed the youth directly, describing their aspirations as “the heartbeat of Punjab’s future.”
Maryam Nawaz noted that since its inception last year, the program has benefited 80,000 students — with 50,000 currently receiving scholarships and another 30,000 set to be included in the latest phase.
Covering 67 different fields, Honhaar aims to prepare students for the job market by equipping them with both practical skills and academic knowledge.
“The portal for the next phase of Honhaar is now open,” the Chief Minister said, encouraging students to apply with confidence, pursue their studies with dedication, and believe in their potential.
Launched to empower talented youth, the Honhaar Scholarship Program is designed to enhance career prospects, promote skills development, and strengthen the province’s future workforce. The second phase promises to expand its impact even further, continuing to invest in Punjab’s next generation.
