Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent airstrike by Israeli occupyingforces in Gaza, which tragically resulted in the loss of numerous civilianlives.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan extends itsdeepest condolences to the families of the victims and reaffirms itsunwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people during this period ofprofound suffering.
The statement said this egregious attack constitutes yet another seriousviolation of international humanitarian and human rights law, underscoringthe scale and severity of the crimes perpetrated by the occupying power.
It said the Government of Pakistan calls upon the international communityto take immediate and decisive action to end Israeli impunity, ensure theprotection of civilians, and hold Israel accountable for its actions.
The FO said Pakistan reiterates its longstanding support for thePalestinian cause and advocates for a just, sustainable, and peacefulresolution, in line with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions thatuphold the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.
This includes the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable, andcontiguous Palestinian State, based on the pre-June 1967 borders, withAl-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
