*Islamabad:* The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has dismissed recentreports claiming that former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s residence is beingauctioned. According to NAB sources, the ongoing auction in the £190million case is limited to properties linked to Bahria Town and not relatedto Imran Khan.
Officials clarified that the auction orders have only been issued forindividuals who have been declared absconders in the case. Imran Khan isneither an absconder nor are his properties subject to any auctionproceedings, the sources confirmed.
NAB further stated that the properties being auctioned today belong toFarah Khan, commonly known as Farah Gogi, who has been declared anabsconder in the case. Legal procedures have been initiated to auction herassets.
The £190 million recovery case involves the seizure and auction of variousproperties linked to Bahria Town, with the objective of compensating lossesto the national exchequer.
