U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is visiting Russia on Sunday to meet President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
In a statement, State Department said Pompeo will discuss full range of bilateral and multilateral challenges.
Pompeo’s meeting comes after two countries have clashed over a number of issues, including Venezuela, Syria and Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
