BHOPAL: Four military trucks went up in flames while being transported fromBangalore to Faizabad on a special train in Betul district of MadhyaPradesh on Thursday afternoon, Times of India has reported.

Several fire tenders were pressed into service. There were 90 jawans onboard a coach in the same train.

Police said four trucks were damaged in the fire. There are no reports ofany injury.

The train was stopped after its guard noticed the blaze, they said. Thecause of the fire has not been ascertained yet.

The schedule of several trains on this route has been affected due theincident. Many passenger trains were stopped at different stations.
