The United States says it values its long-standing cooperation withPakistan.
Commenting on Imran Khan’s ouster in a vote of no-confidence in theNational Assembly, a State Department spokesperson said the United Stateshas always viewed a prosperous and democratic Pakistan as critical to itsinterests.
The spokesperson said Pakistan has democratic processes outlined in itsconstitution to determine its leadership and the government.
He was of the view that all political parties will adhere to the rule oflaw, good governance, and democratic principles.
