The ruling coalition in Punjab has claimed 189 votes in the PunjabAssembly while the united opposition is claiming more than 200 votes.
Sources said that the government has formulated a strategy underArticle 63A not to recognize the votes of deviant members.

According to sources, the ruling coalition has intensified contactswith the opposition and others, including angry members, while theopposition is active on the legal front for early voting.
