It has been decided to appoint Tauqeer Shah, a Grade 21 officer, asPrincipal Secretary to the newly elected Prime Minister ShahbazSharif.
Tauqeer Shah has also been Shahbaz Sharif’s principal secretary in Punjab.
He will retire in December. Tauqeer Shah is one of the closeassociates of Shahbaz Sharif.
Sources said that consultations are underway regarding the transfer ofsecretaries of federal ministries.
