*Prime Minister Imran Khan will soon make a maiden visit to Tehran, theForeign Office said on Thursday.*
It is expected to take place this month. The visit is seen as crucial as itcomes against the backdrop of a visit by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad BinSalman to Islamabad in February.
Meanwhile, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal says Pakistanwon’t participate in the US-Taliban negotiations in Doha despite itssupport to the Afghan peace process.

“Pakistan will not be part of the next round of talks between Taliban andthe US in Doha this month,” Dr Faisal said in a weekly press briefing.
“Pakistan has always supported the Afghan peace process in the past. Itwill continue playing its role for enduring peace in Afghanistan.”
