RIYADH – Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representativeto the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Vice Admiral (Retd) Khan HashamBin Siddique held a meeting with the Secretary General of the OIC, Dr.Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen in Jeddah today (Wednesday).

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the occupied Kashmirand condemned the ongoing violation of human rights being committed againstthe Kashmiri people.

They urged the member States of OIC to continue exerting pressure for theimplementation of all the United Nations Security Council resolutions onKashmir till the resolution of the dispute according to the aspirations ofthe Kashmiri people.

The two sides also reviewed the OIC-Pakistan bilateral relations anddisused ways and means of strengthening the relations in all areas ofcommon interest particularly combating terrorism, cybercrime, promotingeducation in science and technology and convening of conferences for thebetterment of the Muslim Ummah.
