SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of stateterrorism martyred, at least, seven Kashmiri youth including a teenage boyin Kulgam district on Wednesday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, four youth were martyred when thetroops opened fire on people protesting against a cordon and searchoperation launched by the troops in Khudwani area of the district.
Dead bodies of another three youth were recovered from the debris of fourhouses, destroyed by the troops during the operation.
Over one hundred protesters were injured in firing of bullets and pelletsby the troops.
The killings triggered widespread anti-India protests and clashes betweenthe troops and protesters in every nook and corner of the Valley.
Hundreds of students of Kashmir University and colleges came out on streetsin all major cities and towns of the territory, raising pro-freedom andanti-India slogans.
Earlier, an Indian soldier was killed and two others were injured in aclash in the area.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a message asked people to be mentally ready for amass uprising against the bloodbath in the Valley.
On the other hand, complete shutdown will be observed across the territory,tomorrow, to condemn the killings of innocent youth.
Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadershipcomprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
