Indian Army helicopter crashes in Occupied Kashmir, casualties reported

NEW DELHI, March 11 (Xinhua) — A helicopter belonging to the Indian Armycrashed in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday, said media reports.

The crash reportedly took place in the Baraum area of the Gurez sector ofIndian-controlled Kashmir.

Fate of the pilot and others onboard, if any, is not known yet as a searchand rescue operation is still on.

“The search parties of the security forces are reaching the snow-bound areafor the rescue of the chopper crew,” said a media report. ■
