KABUL – Afghan Taliban have stepped up attacks on the Afghan and Foreignmilitary forces in Afghanistan.

A *convoy of vehicles reportedly transporting foreign forces was targetedon Sunday morning in Daman district in Kandahar province*, Khaama Presshas reported.

Early reports stated the troops targeted were from the unit responsible forthe security of the Kandahar airport.

Officials said at least two civilians were wounded in the incident.

However no details have been released on whether there were casualtiesamong the foreign troops.
