Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations Major General BabarIftikhar says India is involved in promoting anti-Pakistan agenda in sixdomains, which include abetting terrorism, targeting economy, usingdiplomacy, fomenting chaos, Kashmir and social issues.
Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi this evening, he said EUDisinfoLab has New Delhi’s planned propaganda against Pakistan on thebehest of the State of India. He said Indian aggression in Kashmir wascleverly kept in hiding from the international watch, while an unfoundedpropaganda was unleashed in favour of revocation of Article 370. He said EUparliamentarians were invited to visit the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammuand Kashmir in personal capacity, but they were portrayed as EUrepresentatives.
Regarding social issues, Babar Iftikhar said false propaganda was launchedthrough EU Chronicles on minorities and women issues. Anti Pakistanresolutions were moved in the European Parliaments to tarnish Pakistan’simage in all these areas. He said EU DisinfoLab report view thisanti-Pakistan campaign at number six on the scale of one to six, which isthe highest level of disinformation spread by India. He said findings ofthe report serve as a call to actions for decision makers to put in placerelevant frameworks to sanction actors and governments abusinginternational institutions, influencing decision makers and misleading theworld opinion.
