Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman and former Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has conveyed that the caretaker government will not be a concern if it brings relief to the people. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his deep concern over the ongoing economic crisis that the nation is grappling with, emphasizing that the situation is deteriorating with each passing day.

He reiterated the party's commitment to a people-centric approach and drew parallels with the tenure of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, asserting that PPP would guide Pakistan out of the prevailing crisis, just as she did in her time.

The PPP Chairman reminded that when the IMF agreement was signed, the government had called upon the people to make sacrifices for the country during times of crisis. Now, he believes it's the government's turn to make sacrifices. Furthermore, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari conveyed his willingness to cooperate with the caretaker government, provided they uphold their responsibility without becoming 'chairtaker' rulers.

He made a clear distinction between his personal and political loyalties, stating that while he adheres to his father Asif Zardari's orders regarding family matters, his allegiance in political matters lies with the party, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), and the workers.

This change in stance from PPP comes after Asif Ali Zardari, the former president and PPP co-chairman, expressed confidence in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), emphasizing the necessity of fresh delimitation following the new census notification.

Bilawal Bhutto had previously urged the ECP to announce the date for general polls and adhere to the constitutional requirement of holding elections within 90 days. In his remarks to the media in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto called upon those attempting to impose puppet governments on Pakistan to cease such experiments and allow the people to make their own decisions.

In summary, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's recent statements reflect PPP's commitment to addressing Pakistan's economic crisis with a people-oriented approach, his willingness to cooperate with the caretaker government, and his firm political allegiance to the party, CEC, and workers. These developments come in the wake of changing perspectives within the party regarding the upcoming general elections and the need for delimitation following the new census
